My 1st Halloween Party

Today I went to my very first Halloween party at my friend Tyler and his mommy Lisa's house. All of my little friends and their Mommys (from the Mommy's Group) were there. We all had to dress up for the party so Mommy decided to dress me up as a bumblebee. We had alot of fun especially after all our Mommys took our costumes off!! :) Its not very easy to move around in these costumes Mommy!! But I let her take a whole lot of pictures of me in the costume so we can show them all to you.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVE EVERYONE!!!!

Look at me I'm a BIG BOY now!!

I have decided that after 2 weeks of crawling I'm already tired of it and have decided that I really want to learn to walk!!! So to do that I must first learn to stand on my own ... so this past weekend I figured out how to pull myself up and hold on with both hands. (that was on Saturday) I was a little shaky at first but I kept on doing it over and over again and by the end of the night I was a pro!!









Then this is me Sunday!!! Look Mommy one hand!!!! I even let go a few times but Mommy couldn't catch a picture in time cause I fell quite quick.

But I will keep trying and I'm sure she will put a picture on my blog when I do so all of you can see what a big boy I'm growing up to be!!

Cousins???

On Tuesday Mommy and I had a few special visitors - we had a couple of our cousins come from Port Robinson to visit. This is me and my 4th(??) cousin Emily. See my Mommy couldn't figure out what kindof cousins Emily and I are to each other 'cause Emily's Grandma (Debbie) is my Mommys 1st cousin and Emily's Mommy (Angela) is my Mommys 2nd cousin and Emily is my Mommys 3rd cousin so what does that make Emily and me?? If anybody knows please help my Mommy 'cause we're stumped. So I will just call Emily my cousin ... Isn't she adorable?? I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is almost exactly 3 months younger than me so I was trying to be a "Big" cousin to her and help show her how to sit up by herself and how to crawl. I think she was doing a great job sitting up in this picture. She just had to hold onto me so she wouldn't fall over.

Here's a picture of my Mommy and me with Emily and her Mommy (Angela) last time we saw them back in June. I can't believe how big we're both getting!!

Mr. Independent

This past week Mommy FINALLY figured out why I wasn't eating my baby food anymore when she was feeding it to me ... I didn't want it!!!! I feel that because I almost 9 months old that I should be able to feed myself so Mommy has started to give me grownup food and I LOVE it!

She feeds me all different kinds of food but my absolute favourites right now are barbeque chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, peas (I love how I can squish them on my high chair), pasta w/ spaghetti sauce, toast, cheerios, blueberries and my absolute favourite pineapple!! YUM!! YUM!!

Here is a few pictures of me feeding myself lunch - pasta w/ spaghetti sauce and then for dessert - pineapple. (That's why my hair is a little messy 'cause I thought I would put the pineapple juice in my hair!!!) It gets quite messy trying to learn to put all these new foods in my mouth but Mommy doesn't seem to mind except when I start throwing them across the kitchen ... then she tells me I'm done!!

On The Move

Today I learned to crawl!!! It must be a big a deal because Mommy and Daddy get so excited whenever I start to move.

I needed a little incentive to start going so Daddy had a good idea - he placed my favourite little snacks on the carpet far away from me so I had to start moving to reach them. I was mad and frustrated at first but I wanted them so bad I made myself learn to crawl.

But by the end of the day I was getting much better at it and now I can throw my toys (which I love to do!!) and go and chase after them!!



I also love to pull myself up on things and now that I can crawl I can get to alot more things to try and climb. Here I am playing with the tv buttons. I LOVE playing with this toy!!! But for some reason whenever I reach for them I hear my Mommy and Daddy saying "No Jamie". I'm still not sure what that means so I just go ahead and play with these fun little buttons anyways.










There's that Mommy taking my picture again. She has taken alot of me today. I guess this crawling stuff really is a big deal!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the cottage this past weekend to celebrate my first Thanksgiving and "Pumpkinfest".
I had lots of fun seeing all the old cars (I think I saw Grandpa's first car - a '39 Chev ??? Mommy couldn't remember the year for sure), the ponies (I can't wait 'til next year when I can ride one!!!), a real live elephant, the thousands of people (and their dogs) and of course the huge pumpkins!!!

Mommy and Daddy took me to a pumpkin patch to take my picture with a few pumpkins but as you can see I think my Mommy got a little picture crazy.......

Having a ball!!!

This is me and my little buddy Mason. We met at our Mommy and Baby Play Group and we have become good friends. He is about 3 weeks older than I am so we have lots in common. His Mommy Lindsay and my Mommy took us to Adventures on Wonderland where there are lots of cool toys to play with. We had lots of fun in the balls and learning how to go down the slides. We had sooo much fun ... I can't wait to go back Mommy!!!

8 MONTHS OLD!!!

This is me at exactly 8 months old ... Sept.19th at 7:54 am. I had just woken up and Mommy realized we were actually up at 7:54 am on one of my "monthly birthdays" so she had to run and take a picture of me. I'm not at my finest when I just wake up. I inherited Daddy's bags under the eyes ... thanks Daddy!!
